Hallo Harrie,
Mark Townley:
If you're lucky enough to have owned a good Daystar Quark from when they first came out as I am, you may be finding it is starting to show a couple of signs
of age through use. The first is the blocking filter fails, which is a simple case of replace with the same filter directly from Andover.
Christian Viladrich:
DayStar uses a 10 A Andover filter for blocking : 25mm Andover 656fs02 1nm
This is a two-cavity filter.
Mark Townley:
You can find the replacements here
https://www.andovercorp.com/products/bandpass-filters/standard/600-699nm/
Part No. 656FS02-12.5
I replaced mine with the 25mm version...
Frank:
Andover makes the BF for Daystar Quark (656FS02-12.5), it is 12.5mm diameter and cost $157 (189) for one piece. I have replaced it with a 25mm diameter one
(656FS02-25) and use it with TV 4xPowerMate to DS the LUNT50 etalon with Quark. The specification of the filter is 656.3nm Bandpass Filter, FWHM 1nm, 12.5mm
dia.
Frank:
Andover makes a 12.5mm BF which is used in Daystar Quark Chromosphere and mounted on the front of the telecentric extender. The part number is 656FS02-12.5 it costs $157 (189). If you want a 25mm diameter of the same they have it for $233 (280). It works perfectly for me with my Quark,
It is on Andover Corporation website. Daystar doesn't claim that they use this filter, but when you look inside the Quark you find the data on the filter itself.

Ciao Werner
