Gruss
Peter

Im English get es mich einfacher:

I think this is the best online guide:

On my webpage I have a collection of some old programs to start with in the language C, Pascal, Basic and a Excel file:

www.hnsky.org/source_e.zip

I think the Excel is a nice one.

Beyond a range of few hunderd years, you have to drop the analytical series and do numerical integration or use the above prepared JPL epmhemeris also based on numerical integration. Computation gets then very complicated and CPU intensive.

On the long term all calculations suffer from the so called butterfly effect. A tiny error in the starting condition or masses will give a totally different result. Even JPL doesn't go beyond 15000 years.
