Dear HNSKY user,


HNSKY is now at version 2.2.2a. This version will show you
rendered images of all planets, the Moon and the Jovian
Satellites. It will show you the position of Jupiter's red
spot and the liberation of the Moon. Secondly some deepsky
images are now in color. The main web page address is:

You can download a program update (500 Kbytes) from:
http://www.hnsky.org/hnskyp2.zip
Extract the update in your HNSKY directory, normally c:\hnsky

Or alternatively download the complete Basic package with
installer from (2 Mbytes):
http://www.hnsky.org/hnsky222.exe

Additional you should download the separate image files for
Jupiter, Jovian satellites, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and place
them in your DSS/Realsky FITS directory. This directory can be
set in the menu SETTINGS, shortcut CNTRL-E. Downloads:

If you using a non-English version, you should download a new
language module. The program will not work with older
language modules. To download the latest non-English modules

Here is the complete list of changes:

- Improved FITS routine including new coloured deepsky fits images.
If you place them in your existing FITS directory, Remove
manually your old monochrome M16, M20 and NGC2360 files. The
last is identical to M16. See screenshots at

- Support for the new UCAC2 star catalog. See screenshots at
http://www.hnsky.org/hns_ucac.htm
- New boldness routine for the GSC, USNO-A and UCAC2. It looks
more natural however the boldness factor jumps if these catalogs
are selected. So instead of reducing the contrast, the boldness
is increased. The magnitude differences between the stars is now
more easily recognised.
- Moon_map (B&W 1000x500 pixels) and maps of Mars, Jupiter, the
Jovian satellites, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
- Comet and asteroid label colours are now adjustable.

Hallo Tom,

gibt es dazu auch eine LLO (Lunar Liberation Army)? Und wann ist es denn soweit, dass der Mond befreit wird und abhaut?

Ist wirklich nicht böse dem Han gegenüber gemeint gemeint, ich finde das nur drollig. <img src="/phpapps/ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif" alt="" />

das ist wirklich drollig <img src="/phpapps/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/phpapps/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> Die Befreiung des Mondes wäre vielleicht was für Dschordsch Dabbeljuh Feldbusch, um Terroranschlägen dort frühzeitig vorzubeugen. Mit General Procellarum als Truppenführer. Aber Schluss, Politik ist ja hier mit Recht verpönt <img src="/phpapps/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> Das Problem haben dann aber die Programmierer, denn die Reihenentwicklungen für die Mondbahn können wir dann in die Tonne kloppen <img src="/phpapps/ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif" alt="" />
