unsere Sonne ist wieder am Ostrand aktiv:
Laut spaceweather.com:

SOLAR ACTIVITY: On Dec. 31st around 0110 UTC, something exploded just behind the sun's eastern limb. The blast unleashed a C8-class solar flare and hurled a bright CME into space. These events may signal the impending return of large sunspot 978, which has spent the past two weeks transiting the far side of the sun.

Das Bild der Kanzelhöhe zeigt dort etwas, immerhin wird eine Relativzahl von 9 angegeben.

Falls also jemand passende Bedingungen haben sollte...

ein Update, SpaceWeather von heute:

SOLAR CYCLE 24: Solar physicists have been waiting for the appearance of a reversed-polarity sunspot to signal the start of the next solar cycle. The wait is over. A magnetically reversed, high-latitude sunspot emerged today: image. If you have a solar telescope, take a look at this important new active region. It marks the beginning of Solar Cycle 24 and the sun's slow ascent back to Solar Maximum.

schön, daß Du auch dazu schreibst - wegen zwischenzeitlichem Abendessen habe ich lange zum Schreiben gebraucht ... aber nun gibt's hier mehr zum SC24-Erstling ...
