As in the photo, the collimation is very simple on the Miyauchi.

Is better for you tighten the screw with Spring washer?

As you said, do the actual collimation with the two assessible screws after assembly!

The springs on the inside should all be set to medium tension, not too loose and not too tight.

That's all!

The visual improvement is corrected because the optic axle is moved in the most correct zone of the objective.

Jetzt ist es klar! das Glas muß nicht geöffnet werden, die Einstellung findet von außen mittels der Madenschrauben statt! Also doch ein logisches Systen, keine Murkslösung. Schön zu wissen daß das bei dem Glas so gelöst ist, solche Threads sollte man irgendwo sammeln!

I'm sure this thread will be helpfull for some other bino-fans, here: http://binofan.home.att.net/flakglas.htm you can see the same "oldie" I'm using. I have make two adapters to fix eypieces from Hensoldt with a focal length of 15 mm. So i can use it as a 10x80 or 23x80.

I still have another small problem; now the center is correct, while the edge produces this light shade, visible in the daytime.
